Introducing the BachaZouk Alliance
achaZouk draws its identity from a community united by a shared love for Dominican Bachata and Lambada/Brazilian Zouk, and its strength comes from the people who celebrate and cultivate both styles and the fusions that surround them. To bring this vision to life, I’m thrilled to announce the BachaZouk Alliance: a collaborative network of values-driven leaders advancing the movement through teaching, organizing, and community building. The Alliance links those who create inclusive, intentional dance experiences and supports them with shared resources, a unified vision, and genuine partnership.

We welcome anyone actively building the BachaZouk movement:
- Instructors teaching Bachata and/or Brazilian Zouk and support the fusion between them
- Event Organizers running socials, weekenders, workshops, or festivals
- Studios offering Bachata and/or Brazilian Zouk and have a desire to add BachaZouk dance instruction to their schedules
- DJs and Musicians curating soundscapes that reflect the blend
- Community Builders creating safe, welcoming spaces to explore the BachaZouk dance fusion
- Content Creators who educate, document, and share the BachaZouk community growth
You don’t need a huge following or years of experience, just a clear commitment to the vision, a passion for building community, and a desire to grow collaboratively by deepening your understanding, amplifying culture, and connecting with others who share the same purpose. The BachaZouk Alliance was created for people like you.
📝 How to Join
Joining the BachaZouk Alliance is an application-based process designed to ensure alignment with the vision, values, and purpose of the movement.
We keep this process intentional to make sure everyone joining is a great fit, not based on status, but on shared values, community focus, and a genuine desire to help BachaZouk grow with care.
✅ Step 1: Apply
Complete the interest form and tell us about your journey and goals.
🗣️ Step 2: Interview
If it feels like a good fit, we’ll invite you for a short call with someone from our team. This is a chance to connect directly, ask questions, and get aligned on what being part of the Alliance means.
🤝 Step 3: Onboarding
If accepted, you’ll officially become a member of the BachaZouk Alliance and receive:
- A listing on the official BachaZouk website and network map
- Branding materials (if desired) to support your Bachata, Brazilian Zouk, or BachaZouk efforts
- Promotion of your eligible events, projects, or collaborations via the BachaZouk platform
- Access to mentorship, support, and collaborative opportunities within the Alliance.
- Direct connections with instructors, organizers, DJs, and studios aligned with the BachaZouk vision
- Invitations to quarterly strategy meetings to connect, co-create, and help shape the future of the movement together
